Consistently showing up
I’m writing this while laying in bed in a hotel room using my phone. I’m away from my desk at the moment for my sisters wedding, but that’s no excuse to skip a week of my ‘weekly newsletter’.
I’ve been trying to be more consistent with things I’ve committed to this year and so far things have been going well.
The newsletter has been going out weekly for around 6 months, I’ve recently passed a 200 day streak on Duolingo and I’ve recently started journaling with Day One on a fairly regular basis.
Like I said last week, the difference between average and outstanding is often just one more step so showing up consistently no matter what is essential to making progress is whatever you commit to.
